You are making this man, (or woman,) feel good so why not follow suit? Any actor will tell you how important a costume is in order to get into character – just ask Johnny Depp when he was preparing to become Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean. What you wear influences how you feel and how you speak. You clothing influences your level of confidence just as much as playing that Beyonce song influences the way you strut your stuff down 5th Ave. after stopping for that specialty latte you just couldn’t wait to try. The sexier you look, the sexier you feel, the freer you will feel to say what you need to say to please that man and the better you will feel saying it, so go out and invest in some of the hottest lingerie you have always wanted to buy but haven’t and get ready to get down and dirty. Pair your new look with a pair of high heels and newly painted poison red nails for an added boost of confidence. Don’t forget to take a minute to admire your sexy self in the mirror. The Moves
We know that you are not a stripper, but the way that you move will most definitely help you get into character. After putting on your “costume,” we suggest walking around, sitting down, twirling your hair, crossing your legs, uncrossing your legs, running your fingers along your skin and just playing with the movements your body is able to make. If you feel comfortable doing this in front of a mirror, then great! However, we have found that the best way to practice is by setting up a camera and recording yourself so that you can watch the playback but you don’t have to focus on watching yourself in the moment, as you would have to with a mirror. There is no reason to hold back because guess what? Nobody else has to see this except for you! But you may surprise yourself and end up sending some of the footage to your beau, who knows?! Go on and surprise yourself.
The Voice
Almost all of us have listened back to a recording of our voice and thought, “Fuck, how annoying can I possibly be? I sound like a dying animal or a squealing pig.” You NEVER want to allow yourself to feel that way when your voice happens to be your job. As a phone sex operator, you better keep those vocal cords lubricated and ready for some action. You want to sound exciting and enticing. Putting on a persona will allow you to do so without feeling like you have to 100% be yourself. A good way to go about this is to watch some old Hollywood glamour films with people like Bette Davis and Marilyn Monroe in it. Rewind and listen to their inflections as they speak.
